Frankie wrote to the mail order matchmaker, Elizabeth Miller, in Beckham, Massachusetts asking for a mail order groom.No father in Beckham would allow Wally (Walter) Miller court their daughters because of the reputation he and his sibling had from being part of the “demon horde”. Wally’s sister, Elizabeth Miller the matchmaker in town, sent her butler to bring Wally to see her and showed Wally the letter from Francine. Wally decided he was going to head to Idaho to become Frankie’s groom.

Good story but too simplistic and stilted. The author must be a feminist also...in a way. It was ok but I'm not going to read more of hers.
This was a good read. Frankie and her brother had moved West 3 years ago. Frankie dressed as a man so nobody would bother her. Frankie decided it was time to Marry and start wearing dresses, so she sent off for a mail order groom. Sally answered the advertisement.
I have read all the Rivers End Ranch books and am very glad to read how the parents got together. Are there any more about the kids growing up together before they took over the ranch? Love this series. Thanks for sharing these stories
I would recommend this book to all my freinds. I enjoyed it very much. My one complaint is it was much too short.
Wonderful story fast and easy read. Kirsten is a very gifted story teller. The Brides of Beckham (BOB) books are among one of my favorite's. I highly recommend you join in on this book and this series. Happy Reading💟💟💟💟💟
Love it! Who but Kirsten can make you believe that you can love a man within 72 hours? And have a smile on your face the whole time. The reader has the smile because the story is just that good.
Francine, aka Frankie, has been living as a fella with her brother for three years on their ranch, River's End. Now she is ready to have a husband, so she wrote to a matchmaker in the East. It happened the matchmaker had a brother who fit the order perfectly and he headed out to Idaho right away.
Instead of a mail order bride, we have a,mail order groom and a very strong female. This is a great story and if you have been reading the River's End series, this is the beginning of that ranch and the Weston family there. I totally enjoyed this story.
